Theme

Our story

CaptureOn Collective began as a small Los Angeles operators’ circle logging gimbal fails and steadicam wins after night shoots. Those shop talks grew into playbooks, then full workshops, then a living catalog of tools. Today we are a global network of camera operators, DPs, ACs, and colorists who believe in open craft, safe sets, and generous knowledge.

Mission

Help working cinematographers and camera operators make bolder images while reducing on-set risk. We systemize movement, lighting, and color so crews can focus on story.

Values

  • Safety before spectacle
  • Clarity beats complexity
  • Repeatable excellence
  • Community over ego

Approach

We document field-tested practices: lensing logic, camera balance, power planning, and color pipelines that survive tight schedules and changing weather.
