Frequently Asked Questions

What gear do I need for the Movement Lab?

Any mirrorless or cinema camera with a top handle, a basic gimbal, and a weighted sandbag. We provide alternatives for handheld if you lack a gimbal.

Are courses beginner-friendly?

Yes. Each course lists its level. Beginner tracks start with shot stability, exposure basics, and set etiquette before advancing to complex movement.

How are LUTs licensed?

Single-seat, non-transferable license for commercial and personal projects. You may embed graded output in distributed media; do not share LUT files.

What is the refund policy?

Live workshops: refundable up to 7 days before the event. Digital downloads: non-refundable once accessed. Defects will be corrected or refunded.

How do I get instructor feedback?

Upload shot samples to the community thread linked in your course dashboard. Instructors rotate weekly for notes on timing, framing, and horizon control.

Do you cover drone regulations?

Yes. Our Drone module reviews key rules and safe operations. Always verify local laws and airspace advisories before flying.

Which software do you teach for color?

DaVinci Resolve for primary and secondary corrections, look development, and delivery color management.

Do I need cinema glass?

No. We demonstrate with both photo zooms and cinema primes. The key is intention: field of view, perspective, and consistent focus strategy.
